Membership in Daughters of the Arts
- While group meetings will be geared toward female participation
in all martial art styles, membership and participation shall
be open without regard to an applicant's race, color, religion,
gender, or national origin.
- Application is subject to review by the governing board,
which consists of the co-founders Masirib Guro Jena Inay and
Shihan Ginger Dunn.
- Members of Daughters of the Arts are not precluded from belonging
to other martial art organizations, as long as those organizations
do not violate our moral and ethical standards. Members of
Daughters of the Arts are specifically encouraged to support
other martial art organizations, as we believe strongly in
the family of martial arts, and the concept that by helping
each other, we all grow stronger together.
- The yearly $35.00 membership fee assists in funding the Daughters
of the Arts functions to include meetings, seminars, and charitable
donations. Your membership fee will make you eligible to attend
the three DOTA meetings per year as well as a discount on the
price of the DOTA seminar fees.
